Firemage are an epic folk metal group founded in 2019, hailing from Porto, Portugal.
This gathering of established musicians from the portuguese underground scene (Moonshade, Xeque-Mate) aims to be the new face of fantasy-inspired folk metal. Their goal is to embody the atmosphere of the fantastical and the superstitious through tales of merry, magic and mayhem, heavily charged with influences from lusitanian folklore.
The band has made its debut via the IGNIS EP. This self-release will be the first half of the band's debut album, which is already in the production stage.
