Misanthropic Planet is a Black Metal band consisting of Dark Shopanovic and Aki Streeter. Dark was born in the Soviet village of Novoodinsk near the city of Irkutsk. He founded Misanthropic Planet with some junkies from Kazan in 1981. A few years later, he fled on a goods train and ended up in Klagenfurt. There he met Aki Streeter. Dark plays drums and Aki sings and plays guitar. The band has now released their debut album ‘Demon's Underworld Trance’ and a few singles in 2024. Dark is on an indefinite detox in Crete, which is why Aki is alone on stage playing the bands' songs.
